To best respond to the increasing need of being always interconnected wherever we are, having our automatic machines status constantly under control, we developed the web server functionality for our multifunction controller IMP Unit.
IMP Unit: what is it?
It is a multifunction controller which includes motion controller, gateway and PLC in just one device for space, wiring and cost savings.
This multifunction controller it’s open to several configuration and it’s available with Profinet, Modbus TCP/IP, EtherCAT, Canopen and Modbus-RTU fieldbuses.
What's new about this multifunction controller?
With web server functionality integrated in IMP unit, our multifunction controllers (motion controller, gateway and PLC) open to several configuration and available with Profinet, Modbus TCP/IP, EtherCAT, Canopen and Modbus-RTU fieldbuses, it is possible to check the status of the machine, diagnose faults and download software and firmware updates and/or changes by connecting directly to the device both in the local network and through internet, wherever you are.
With web server functionality it’s also possible to:
- View dynamic HTML pages, generated with simple development tools: the embedded web server dynamically generates HTML screens using current data
- Notify the status via e-mail: when an event occurs, an e-mail is sent to all recipients even when not directly connected to the device
