Our motors and drives for stepper motors are an efficient and low-cost package, designed specifically for the movement of kinetic sculptures. Nema 17 and Nema 23 motors with encoder, combined with out closed loop vector drives, allow for homing upon start-up without additional sensors, reaching the mechanical stop without, however, causing damage thanks to torque control. In addition to this, our compact open frame boards are ideal for integration thanks to their small size.
Main characteristics:
- Initial calibration procedures performed directly by the drive in controlled mechanical stop and without additional sensors (homing).
- Smooth movements thanks to vector control.
- Interfacing with most PLCs or motion boards thanks to the different fieldbuses such as Canopen, Ethercat, Modbus TCP/IP or I/O.
- Motors that can be customised with brake and absolute encoder.
- High performance/cost ratio.
